Community Gatherings Celebrate Plants, Art & Creativity

March 7, 2013 by Tania Marien

webIMG_LetsExplorePlants_2013ArtPlantae celebrates plants, botanical art and community with the launch of
Let’s Explore Plants this Spring, a new program that will be taught at Aurea Vista, a community gathering place featuring the creative works of local artists, designers, craftspeople, importers and specialty food merchants located in historic downtown Riverside.

Here is what’s new at Classes Near You > Southern California:

Let’s Explore Plants

Join fellow gardeners and plant lovers at the community table at Aurea Vista to learn about plants and the grand history of botanical art. Participants will learn about botany and botanical illustration through hands-on experiences and friendly conversation. Participants will begin their own personalized guide to plants and botanical illustration at the first gathering and will add new pages to their guides at subsequent gatherings. To register, please visit the Aurea Vista or
call (951) 684-1500. Register for 4 classes, get the 5th class free.
