Five-Day Botanical Art & Wildlife Workshop – October 22-26, 2012. Natural science illustrator, Mindy Lighthipe, and illustrator, Patricia J. Wynne, will lead this workshop in which participants will learn how to create field sketches and plein air paintings of flora and fauna. This workshop will be held in Gainesville, Florida. Each day of the workshop will be taught in a new location. Daily adventures include private tours of Kanapaha Botanical Garden, Lubee Bat Conservancy, Carlson Springs Conservation Sanctuary, the Butterfly Rainforest at the McGuire Center for Lepidoptera and Biodiversity, and Paynes Prairie.
