Beginning Watercolor with Carol Telesky
Saturdays, Feb. 5 to Mar. 26, 2011; 10 AM to 12 PM. Learn the watercolor techniques used by botanical artists! Participants will paint leaves and flowers and learn how to mix colors. Painting techniques such as washes, glazing, priming and dry-brush will be demonstrated. Carol Telesky has a Bachelors of Art degree in Studio Art from Humboldt State University. A founding member of the Botanical Artists Guild of Southern California, she has studied botanical art at Otis College of Art and Design, The Huntington Library, Art Collections & Botanical Gardens, and with Anne-Marie Evans in England.
