Mark Granlund Announces New Schedule of Online Drawing Courses

Artist and teacher, Mark Granlund, has announced two new drawing courses focusing on botanical subjects.

Mark’s classes are open to anyone who wants to learn how to draw. All examples are botanical in nature and Mark discusses botanical drawing. All Artist’s Brain courses are five-week courses, however students may take as long as they need. Once registered in a class, students can always ask a for critique of their assignments, no matter how long it takes them to complete their work. Mark began teaching traditional botanical art classes online in Spring 2010.

  • Drawing Basic Elements: Line, Shape and Value – This online course begins September 20, 2010. This is a beginning drawing course teaching the three basic elements to drawing: line, shape and value. The course is written to take five-weeks with sections assumed to take students one week to complete. The course includes demonstration videos, written assignments, examples, an online portfolio, quizzes and a question and answer forum. Cost: $65. Register Here
  • Drawing – Composition – This online course begins September 20, 2010. This is a five-week course on composition. Learn the basics of composition; scale, perspective, design and purpose. Course includes demonstration videos, assignments, examples, an online portfolio and a question and answer forum. Cost: $65. Register Here
