The Philadelphia Society of Botanical Illustrators have the honor of presenting the first exhibition in the new education center at The Jenkins Arboretum in Wayne, PA. Founded in 1997, the Philadelphia Society of Botanical Illustrators is committed to increasing public awareness about botanical art. They host exhibitions, sponsor workshops and participate in a variety of outreach efforts. Their outreach efforts include creating classes for children and raising money for the New Orleans Botanical Garden after it was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.
