The word “sketchcrawl” was coined by Enrico Casarosa after participating in a “pub crawl” for a friend’s bachelor party. Since coining this phrase, he has taken the sketchcrawl concept online and now hosts a forum where sketchbook artists share their sketches.
The next global Sketchcrawl is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2009. For these events, sketchbooks artists gather across the world to draw and paint with fellow artists. Participants can sketch for 30 minutes or all day, whatever works for them.
Want to join in on the fun? Gather your art buddies and plan a gathering. Casarosa explains how to participate and how to share sketches online in the SketchCrawl Forum.
